Welcome

My name is Jean. My introduction to autism came through my masters courses at Missouri State University. I was so intrigued by these wonderful children that I accepted a teaching position in a classroom for children who were impacted significantly with developmental delays. My class is designed to provide intensive interventions in communication, sensory integration, and socialization.  What a journey of discovery I am on as I implement evidence-based interventions and watch these strategies change the lives of my students and the quality of life for their families. I am hooked.

Collaborate

 I went on to earn an Autism Certificate while completing my Masters in Special Education. I have been teaching this classroom of kindergartners through 5th graders ever since. I am still researching and still learning and still loving it. My best resources have been collaborating with others who also work with these children.
